The meeting with Zelensky was held in Kiev at the Kyiv Food Market. Journalists asked the president questions in groups of 7-10 people. Groups had to replace each other every half hour. The event began at 10:00 in Kiev and lasted until midnight 14 hours.

According to presidential press secretary Julia Mendel, more than 300 journalists were accredited to participate in the event, although some media representatives were refused. Mendel explained that the list of accredited journalists did not include those:
who provided more people from the editorial office than was due to the requirements of the press service; who did not have a journalist’s ID; who wrote at the end of the accreditation period.

In the morning, the first journalists began to gather under the Kyiv Food Market. Law enforcement officers, for their part, have already installed metal detectors through which they passed. Activists also came here, mainly from Freedom.
