Only as an auxiliary diagnostic procedure.
Is prostate massage really necessary
Prostate – treatment
The prostate is the gland of external secretion that creates most of the components of the ejaculate and is needed for fertility. The prostate consists of two lobules surrounding the urethra at the site of its exit from the bladder.
During the diagnosis of the prostate by palpation through the rectum, it is possible not only to identify bulges or enlargements, but also to facilitate the outflow, "drainage" of fluid from the prostate. Such a procedure can be painful.
Massage of the prostate, when it comes to diagnosis, should be done by a doctor specially trained in this, Ms. Ulyana emphasized.

What can massage give?
Prostate massage is used primarily for diagnostic purposes, to study the secretion of the prostate. Prostate massage can be used before taking urine to analyze markers of a number of diseases. In particular, the use of prostate massage while taking urine will help diagnose if it is an infection of the urethra or prostate.
A slight relief from the massage can actually be felt due to the outflow of fluid. However, massage will not fix the problem.
“There were simply times when such an intimate massage was the only way to help the patient. Now, fortunately, it is possible to treat a patient, not a part of the body, and act with the help of effective medicines and lifestyle changes.
Prostate massage as a medical procedure is not included in any urology guidelines. There are few studies of its effectiveness. And those that exist are made on small samples, and they do not prove the effectiveness of prostate massage, so they cannot be taken into account. ”
With all that, in Ukraine its purpose is quite common – for your money.
Prostate massage – risks of bleeding; skin inflammation; the spread of prostate cancer metastases; damage to the rectum; bruises do prostate massage if there is an adenoma (increase); prostate cancer; and infectious diseases of the urine and vas deferens.
In general, doctors should not use massage (palpation) other than once for the diagnosis,
– emphasized Ulyana Suprun.

Conditions that usually recommend prostate massage
Treatment of prostatitis. Prostatitis is an inflammation of the prostate. Prostatitis can be different: acute bacterial, chronic bacterial (the most common), non-infectious chronic with or without inflammation (chronic coccyx pain syndrome), and asymptomatic.
The first part of therapy is antibiotics, alpha-blockers and analgesics, and persistence in taking the course of therapy – in the case of chronic conditions, there will be no rapid improvement. In acute prostatitis, massage is generally contraindicated.
Infertility treatment. There are a number of reasons for the state of infertility, and each case has its own therapeutic approaches or reproductive technologies. Neither therapeutic nor erotic massage of the prostate can help here. Prompt overcoming of obstruction, treatment of chronic prostatitis, and measures aimed at improving sperm quality will help.
Lower back pain. In most cases, it is caused by improper posture or prolonged retention of an inclined position at work, as in cooks or surgeons. In this case, physical activity and strengthening of the back muscles are needed. Sometimes prostatitis or kidney stones, or even pancreatitis cause lower back pain, but, again, the cause must be treated, and not go to questionable procedures.
Erectile disfunction. The best prevention for this condition is regular sex, physical activity, a healthy body mass index, lack of visceral fat, and a balanced diet. If something falls out of this list, prostate massage will not return an erection.
Official recommendations do not advise also to do self-massage, even if there is a desire, courage and faith in the effectiveness of such an approach. But nobody refuses sensory stimulation of the prostate of their partner. The prostate is indeed a very sensitive erogenous zone, worthy of attention and tenderness by mutual agreement. An orgasm as a result of stimulation of the prostate can be without ejaculation, or with a slight, but very bright
