In total, more than 94 reports of suspected coronavirus have already been received and more than 500 samples have been examined. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

Patients were hospitalized with suspicion on March 6 and 13, according to the Chernivtsi Regional State Administration.
“Since then, they have been in the infectious ward of the regional clinical hospital and receive appropriate medical care. Patients are isolated, their condition is stable. Work is being done with contact persons,” they say.
In addition, six Ukrainians abroad confirmed cases of coronavirus infection. Two in Germany and Italy, one in Moldova and the United Arab Emirates.

Most of the cases – four – in the Chernivtsi region. There coronavirus was confirmed for the first time in Ukraine. A 71-year-old woman from the Zhytomyr region who had previously returned from Poland was also infected. Unfortunately, she died.

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky in his video message urged Ukrainians to return from abroad within three days. Citizens of Ukraine may return. However, all those who return from countries where there are many infected with coronavirus will be sent for observation. From March 12 to April 4, a national quarantine was introduced in Ukraine. They canceled their studies in schools, universities and kindergartens, competitions with fans, concerts. At the same time, cities and regions are introducing tough measures. So, in Lviv, everything is closed, except for grocery stores, pharmacies, and gas stations. The same situation is in Odessa and in the Chernivtsi region.
