There is a possibility of banning resorts
In Ukraine, additional restrictive measures can be introduced in relation to resorts due to an increase in the number of infected COVID-19. In particular, this applies to Odessa.
Of course, it is possible (closing of resorts). We are now seeing an increase in the number of beds in some areas. So, for example, Transcarpathia is 71%. In hospitals of the first wave, we are deploying hospitals of the second, third wave. Similarly, 56% – in the Volyn region. Get to 50% – Rivne, Vinnitsa, Lviv region, Kiev,
– said Stepanov.
In Lviv continued quarantine
The Commission on Technological and Environmental Safety and Emergencies decided to extend quarantine in the Lviv region until July 7. All because of the high incidence of coronavirus in the region.
In Lviv and Chernivtsi will open a second-stage hospital for the treatment of COVID-19
On June 30, the Ministry of Health will begin the deployment of second-stage hospitals in Lviv and the Chernivtsi region to receive patients with coronavirus.
Lviv and Bukovina lead in the number of patients with coronavirus infection. Hospitals are most crowded, so other medical facilities are being prepared to be able to receive all infected people.
Shmygal does not consider weakening quarantine a mistake
Prime Minister Denis Shmygal noted that easing quarantine restrictions against the background of an increase in the number of patients is not a mistake. Among the main tasks, he named the preservation of the lives and economy of Ukraine.
We did not let everything go to the end, did not allow mass events, did not open interregional communication with regions where there is rapid growth. In order not to lose the economy, from which the consequences and sacrifices may be greater than with this level of incidence,
– said the prime minister.

WHO sends experts to China to search for COVID-19
Six months after the outbreak of a new coronavirus, WHO said it was sending a team to China to find the source.
The WHO warned that the pandemic is still far from over. Since early May, the organization has insisted that China invite its experts to study the origin of coronavirus in animals. And finally it happened.
We can better fight coronavirus when we learn all about the virus, including how it came about. Next week we will send a team to China to prepare for this, and we hope that this will lead to an understanding of how the virus appeared,
– said WHO Director-General Tedros Adhan Ghebreyesus.
