An unprecedented increase in allergic reactions is observed this spring by Russian immunologists. According to them, this situation in Russia was not 45 years old.
Seasonal allergies are most often caused by pollen. The peak of such an allergy occurs in July – the time of flowering of cereals and so-called meadow weeds. Timothy grass, rye, wormwood and ragweed are considered the most aggressive for the respiratory tract.
Now it is not necessary to talk about the abundant flowering of herbs. The beginning of the "dusting of plants" occurs in the middle of April, but it is connected not with grasses, but with trees – birch, maple, ash, oak and some others.
Poplar with its notorious poplar fluff is not included in the list of allergens.
During flowering trees, allergies usually manifest in a weak form. Nevertheless, an abnormal number of people suffering from pollinosis has already been recorded (this is an allergic disease, accompanied by a runny nose, sneezing, tearing, in severe cases there is a skin rash, convulsions and even respiratory arrest).
As noted by Russian doctors, the current scale of allergies has not been observed for almost half a century, and further the situation will only worsen. By the end of May, some field herbs will begin to bloom, and the peak of allergies will traditionally fall on July 5-25.
What is the reason for such an allergic attack? Blame the weather conditions. Spring came over most of the territory of Russia abruptly and unexpectedly, as a result of which intensive flowering of plants began. When spring comes gradually, then flowering, and with it, pollinosis becomes more soft and blurry forms.
Also hit by allergies was the lack of rain. In wet weather, pollen is beaten with sediment to the ground and does not enter the human respiratory tract. In hot weather, on the contrary, the pollen dries out and becomes highly volatile.
So it comes as no surprise that this spring, even those who have never come across this have already experienced allergy symptoms.
According to WHO, every fifth person suffers from allergies in the world. In Russia, these figures vary: only 4-6% of the population turn to doctors for complaints of pollinosis, while the symptoms of pollinosis are observed from spring to autumn in every third person.
Effective treatment, alas, does not exist! Refer to an allergist, make tests and tests to understand exactly what you are allergic to. Then there is a chance to win it.
The most productive way – to leave at the time of flowering (July) in another region. Immediately we say that you should not go to the south. There, the situation is much worse than in the middle lane: because of the warm weather, much more plants bloom, and ambrosia grows everywhere.
