Over the past day, the disease was detected in 325 people, as a result of which the total number of infected in Ukraine increased to 18 616.
Unfortunately, another 21 people died from complications caused by the disease. The number of deaths due to illness is 535.
Since yesterday, repeated PCR analysis showed a negative result in 160 people, which means that these patients have fully recovered. Since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic in Ukraine, 5,275 people have recovered.
During the day, most new infections were recorded in Lviv, Rivne regions and in Kiev. However, the epidemiological situation still remains difficult precisely in the Chernivtsi region and in the capital.
According to the chief sanitary doctor of the country Viktor Lyashko, from the beginning of the year in Ukraine 227 thousand PCR tests have been carried out.
Most of the tests were done in the laboratories of Kiev (35 thousand), Vinnitsa region (14 thousand), Chernivtsi region (13 thousand), Dnipropetrovsk region (12 thousand) and Odessa region (12 thousand).
