One of the best inclusive schools in the region is located in Gubkin. School No. 11 became the winner of the regional stage of the VII All-Russian competition "The Best Inclusive School of Russia". And will represent the Belgorod region in the final stage.
Information Inclusive education is an education system that implies equal interaction of children within the educational institution, regardless of their intellectual or physical characteristics.
The 11th school has been implementing the inclusive education model since 2014. Today, 32 students with the status of "child with disabilities" or "child with disabilities" are studying in it. These are girls and boys with hearing impairment, mental retardation, severe speech impairment. The training of each of them takes place according to a common but adapted school in accordance with the disease program.
– This year we had two specialized classes: 2 and 4, and graduates move to the usual 5th grade. We strive to ensure that most special children learn with everyone, ”said Director Valentina Iskreneva.
Teachers of school No. 11 take advanced training courses to accompany children with disabilities and children with disabilities, work is conducted with children and parents, the institution is constantly looking for opportunities to make inclusive education more effective.
– As part of the competition, we talked about our recreational areas, coworking studios, the “green class”, and the geographical area. We have a large yard, we also try to use its capabilities to the maximum. For example, we stage mini-performances in the open air, ”said Natalya Kuznetsova, deputy director.

In the competition, however, Gubkin scored twice. The prizewinner in the nomination "The Best Inclusive Kindergarten" was recognized kindergarten No. 32 "Crane". Compensatory groups for children with amblyopia and strabismus have been operating in this kindergarten since 1991. Since 2018, a combined group for children with autism spectrum disorders has been working in the kindergarten; since 2019, a combined group for children with mental retardation.
