Video about the Women's Health program There is a misconception that women with advanced breast cancer are mostly affected.
However, the numbers speak differently. About 40% of diagnoses in Russia are in women under the age of 50. You can lead a healthy lifestyle, exercise, eat right, but alas, 100% cancer insurance does not exist. It is important to know that another rule works here – the sooner I discovered, the higher the chance of recovery. Therefore, all women over 40 years old, oncologists recommend having a mammogram every two years. Forty? It's time to get a mammogram. Do not wait until something starts to bother. “My First Mammography” is a great opportunity to take care of yourself. Take your girlfriend with you, more fun together. By the way, mammography is not painful, not scary and not dangerous. This is a new healthy habit that will bring more confidence and self-love to your life. Stress and Breast Cancer
How to live harmoniously, experience less anxiety and, thereby, protect yourself from disease? Do not try to be perfect. Perfectionism is the root of many evils. Ask for help from loved ones if you are tired and can not cope. Set aside all things to reboot if you run out of steam. Be grateful for what you have and do not strive to be like others. Do not try to solve everything yourself. If you feel emotional burnout, a constant decline in mood, apathy, lack of desire or, conversely, irritation and anger, seek help from professionals – psychologists, psychotherapists. Master the simple techniques of meditation and self-regulation. Practice your meditation regularly, starting at 10 minutes a day. Do not forget about the simple pleasures of life: gatherings with friends, a walk in the woods, a trip to the sea, a good night's sleep, a fascinating book or a trip to the theater. Be active: physical activity not only strengthens muscles, but also causes a surge in endorphins – hormones of happiness.
What to eat to reduce the risk of developing the disease? Fresh vegetables, herbs and fruits are bright, colorful and juicy. They slow down the development of cancer cells. Those same proteins, carbohydrates and fats, which odes are sung by odes. They are truly our building material! But sugar, flour, confectionery, all fried, smoked, fast food, carbonated and other potentially carcinogenic products, it makes sense to say a decisive "no." Of course, occasionally treat yourself to a cake is not forbidden, but you should not get a taste. Instead of whole milk, consume dairy products without sugar and additives. Cooking is good! And, at the same time, delicious. Freshly prepared steamed, baked or stewed dishes with herbs and spices are delicious. Stay fit: being overweight can increase estrogen and insulin levels, which can cause cancer cells to grow. To compile an individual diet, taking into account your characteristics, it is better to consult a dietitian.
