So far, 2 people have died from coronavirus in the region: a 68-year-old resident of the Monastyry district and one person from the Kozovsky district.
Note that the Ternopil region has long been among the leaders in terms of the number of infected with coronavirus. Today it occupies the third place in Ukraine after Kiev (225 cases) and the Chernivtsi region (220). In fourth place – Ivano-Frankivsk region (105 infected).
In other areas, the number of patients does not reach one hundred people. True, Kiev (82 cases) and Vinnitsa (75) regions are approaching this indicator.

According to the Ministry of Health, as of April 5, 1308 cases of coronavirus were recorded in Ukraine. Unfortunately, 37 people have died. But 28 patients recovered. On March 12, Ukraine introduced quarantine to stop the spread of coronavirus. It was supposed to last until April 3, but on March 25, the government continued its restrictions until April 24. On April 1, the government increased quarantine: it was forbidden to be in public places without a mask; visit parks and recreation areas, except for pet walking; walk in the streets in groups of more than two; hold events in groups of more than 10 people. Children under 16 years of age unaccompanied were also prohibited from being on the streets. March 25, the Cabinet of Ministers introduced an emergency throughout Ukraine. As part of measures to combat coronavirus, a mask regime was introduced in Ternopol, and the operation of public transport was stopped. Minibuses hire only doctors, law enforcement officers, public utilities, employees of grocery stores and pharmacies, employees of state authorities.
