985 Ukrainians died from the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, 19 – over the past day. The number of patients who recovered increased to 16,033. 586 people overcame the disease over the past day.
The largest number of new cases was recorded in the Lviv region (+142), Rivne (+121), in the city of Kiev (+92), Transcarpathian region (+78) and in the Chernivtsi region (+76).

Doctors will increase salaries
The government will additionally allocate 8 billion hryvnias to increase salaries for health workers.

All doctors, regardless of position, increase salary by 75%; Nursing staff – at 50% of the minimum wage, about 2,360 hryvnia; Younger nurses will increase by 25% the minimum wage, by about 1,180 hryvnias.
The Cabinet of Ministers also allocated a large amount for the treatment of stroke: from 19 thousand hryvnias to 26 thousand hryvnias, and acute myocardial infarction from 16 thousand hryvnias to 30 thousand hryvnias for one treated case.
More than 700 law enforcement officers became infected
Law enforcement officers are second in terms of risk and in fact of infection after doctors.
As of June 19, the Ministry of Internal Affairs recorded 709 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 among its employees. But 605 people have already recovered and 104 are continuing treatment.

The Verkhovna Rada adopted the corresponding bill No. 3636 as a basis and in general. It will be valid until January 1, 2021.
