This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Education and Science Lilia Grinevich and Acting Minister of Health Ulyana Suprun during a press conference.

In a community setting, vaccinated children may spread the infection to other children who may also be unvaccinated, and there may be medical contraindications. But it also jeopardizes the families of those children, as well as teachers and school workers.
Ulyana Suprun “Article 15 of the Law of Ukraine“ On the Protection of the Population against Infectious Diseases ”says that children who have not been vaccinated according to the National Calendar are not allowed to attend educational institutions. This was also confirmed by the Supreme Court of Ukraine: kindergartens and schools have the right to prevent unvaccinated children in educational institutions. ”
The Supreme Court ruling states: the state must ensure a balance between the right of the child to receive pre-school education and the rights of other children and other Ukrainians.
Before school, the child must undergo a routine examination by a pediatrician or family doctor, as well as update the preventive vaccination card (certificate form No. 063 / о) if the child received new vaccinations.
These are vaccines against 10 infectious diseases: hepatitis B, tuberculosis, measles, mumps, rubella, diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio and hib infection.
What to do to parents who refuse vaccinations
The management of the institution should receive information in the child’s documents on whether the child has been vaccinated in accordance with the National Vaccination Calendar. To do this, there is a medical worker in an educational institution. In each individual situation, he can recommend where to get vaccinated to parents.
Lilia Grinevich “If this is their (parents of children, –24) worldview position and they categorically refuse vaccination, then in this case they can write a statement addressed to the head of the educational institution for an individual or distance learning. The supervisor can provide such an individual form of training. ”
Given this, Lilia Grinevich urges parents not to put the child in conditions under which he will avoid socialization and study normally in connection with a position that "is not entirely justified and may become a threat to the health of their child."
Vaccination schedule for children and adults
On August 13, Ulyana Suprun again proposed to convene a meeting of the NSDC regarding a small number of vaccinated children and adults in Ukraine.
Uliana Suprun “It looks like there is still no understanding that vaccination is no less important than providing military personnel with weapons or implementing NATO standards. Without collective immunity and vaccination as a priority among the top officials of the country, we cannot protect Ukraine. Without considering immunization issues at a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council with appropriate decisions, the thesis on the value of human life will remain only a declaration that is not supported by concrete actions. ”
