The introduction of the Electronic Recipe system has started in the Belgorod Region. The service (as the name implies) will allow receiving doctor's prescriptions not in paper, but in electronic form. It will also help you find out which pharmacies have the right drug and how much it costs. This was told by the head of the region Yevgeny Savchenko on his VK page.
At the moment, the mobile application for smartphones is being tested, the polyclinic №1 of the city of Belgorod and several pharmacies are participating in the experiment. The governor invites everyone to join the testing project. It is assumed that by the end of 2019 new opportunities will be available throughout the region.
The project page tells in detail about the “Electronic Prescription” service – the system of interaction between a patient, a doctor and a pharmacist using a mobile phone.
How will the "Electronic Recipe"?
The advantages of the new service developers include:
Obtaining a prescription in electronic form eliminates the need to store leaflets with appointments and disassemble the doctor's handwriting. The history of appointments is always before your eyes. The patient himself can see it, and even if the attending physician changes, the new specialist will easily become familiar with it. The application will allow the patient to find out which of the pharmacies and at what price the right drug is sold, and choose the most appropriate option. And also – learn about his side effects, the rules of admission, etc. It will also be easier to buy medicine: it is enough to show the pharmacist the QR code from the application.
The developers promise additional amenities. For example, a doctor with chronic diseases will be able to remotely extend prescription prescription drugs. The “built-in electronic pillbox” will remind the patient (or his relatives): when and at what dosage the medicine should be taken, when it is time to buy a new package or sign up with a doctor.
Important: Only the attending physician can issue an electronic prescription. In order to receive an appointment in a “digital” rather than the usual form, the patient will have to sign a consent. "Electronic recipe" is available to owners of smartphones based on iOS and Android. If you do not have a smartphone, or you can’t download and install the application, you will still be able to access some of the features of the service. Through the portal of state services, after authorization, you can get acquainted with medical appointments. And to buy medicine at a pharmacy, it will be enough to call the SNILS number – and the pharmacist will see the prescription.
We will follow the development of the project and be sure to inform readers when the Electronic Recipe service will be available (at least in a test form) in our district.
