The situation with coronavirus in Ukraine was announced by Minister of Health Maxim Stepanov during a briefing.

Of 13,184 infected with COVID-19 in the country, 2,027 patients have already recovered – a second PCR test confirmed a negative result in these people. Among the patients – 905 children and 2,251 medical workers.
Unfortunately, 327 people died from complications caused by the disease.
Over the past day, most cases of infection were recorded in the Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Chernivtsi regions and in Kiev. But in general, most of the patients were registered in the Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk regions and in the capital – these are the only regions in which more than a thousand patients were found.
Stepanov said that over the past day in Ukraine, 6,303 studies were conducted on coronavirus by PCR.

Note! The statistics do not contain data on temporarily occupied areas of Donetsk and Lugansk regions, as well as from the occupied Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
As of the morning of May 6, the Public Health Center received 1,411 reports of suspected coronavirus. In total, from the beginning of 2020, the Center received 34,722 such messages.
