Participation in the study took 30 thousand people. Scientists analyzed data that was collected over 17 years.
They noted that the large egg yolk contains 186 mg of cholesterol, but the consumption of more than 300 milligrams increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases by 17%. This increases the risk of premature death – by 18%.
Accordingly, the use of 3-4 eggs increases the risk of occurrence of cardiovascular diseases by 6%, premature death from any causes – by 8%.
If you eat two eggs daily, the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases and premature death increases immediately by 27% and 34%.
It is worth noting that scientists did not take into account such factors as age, physical activity, the presence of high blood pressure and the presence of bad habits.
And despite this, the conclusion remains: the more a person eats eggs, the more dangerous it is.
It is optimal to use 2-3 eggs per week.
